BIOGRAPHY
Swing Street formed in 2006 and have been a regular feature in Sussex performing a mixture of swing and jump jive numbers.
Meet the band below:
Dr Matt Bell, a general practioner is String Street's band leader.
As well as creating the arrangements for Swing Street, Matt also plays keyboard and provides both backing and occasional lead vocals.

Kerry Evenden is Swing Street's female vocalist, as well as an accomplished clarinettist and saxophonist.
.
Kerry also sings with her own band, Lipstick and Beatniks.

Steve Green is our male vocalist, having been invited to join Swing Street in 2015.
Steve also sings in his own 5 piece band, The Jazz Corporation as well providing guest vocals for Sticky Wicket's Swing Orchestra.

Richard Pimm is a career coach by day and Lead Trumpet by night.
You won't miss Richard's solos; he likes 'em fast and loud!

Fraser Cooper plays lead Alto sax and from time to time can also be seen lending his vocals to the groove of Olly Murs..
Fraser likes to think he brings a cheeky charm to the band and can't help bopping about during the numbers!

John Fox is our guitarist and enjoys playing the many different rhythems that the band perform, cranking up the volumn for his many solos.
John's claim to fame is that he once shared a stage with musician legend that is Herbie Flowers!

By far, the coolest member of Swing Street is Howard.
Engineer by day, and cool as a cucumber by night.
Howard's favourite pastime is providing those low .... sensual tones on that gorgeous baritone sax.
We're going to adding the remaining band members here shortly!
